Hi all and happy Friday! I’m back today with a cool look I wore to work, featuring a collared swing dress that looks a little like a tuxedo, with black tights and these amazing, pointed toe black heels with a t-strap. I love how this look is a little mod and definitely a little edgy. I usually don’t wear a lot of black, but I love how cool this looks. Hope you like!
Hey all! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to the new year! It seems like everyone is, considering what a stressful year it’s been worldwide. The new year is all about new beginnings and starting fresh, making me feel very optimistic for the future.
Today’s post is a New Year’s Eve look that can work for all kinds of parties. I put together this fun outfit pairing a purple dress with old-fashioned detailing with knit tights and a wrap choker. Hope you like it!
Fall is riiiiight around the corner, making me v. happy, and also leaving me at a loss for what to wear. It’s always something of a shock to transition your summer wardrobe to fall, so some new pieces are sometimes necessary to make the transition easier. That’s why I love this gorgeous new top I just got from Back East Boutique.
I’ve got a fun look for you guys today! For years now, I’ve been going to the Renaissance Faire at the end of summer with my family and friends, and it’s always a great day of silliness, food on a stick, gorgeous handmade jewelry, shows, and of course, it’s an excuse to dress up! One year I went as a pirate, but this year I’m going back to my usual, with a dreamy dress and some kind of fun headwear. It’s not a super costumey look, but I like that it seems more laid back!
I’m a huge fan of anything that is vintage or that looks vintage, so I immediately fell in love with these polka dot, vintage-style shorts from Simple Retro. Since they’re A-line and high waisted, they look and feel more like a skirt, but they’re waaaay more comfortable! I styled these awesome vintage-style shorts with a simple white top and then added some simple accents in gold and black.
Also wearing: my new Kylie Cosmetics lip kit in Leo! It’s no secret that I loooove these colors and formulas, and this shade, a deep burgundy, is way out of my comfort zone. But when I tried it on I absolutely loved it. Another reason I love fashion and beauty is the random ways that changing up your style or look makes you feel more confident! Hope you like this look…
Here on The Most Happy, I like to showcase trends as well as personal style, and because my style tends to change a lot based on the season, shopping the latest trends can get expensive. I like getting deals and being frugal about my shopping habit, so of course, sites like Romwe, Shein, and Zaful have often appeared on my computer screen. But it’s also a risk to shop at sites like these, because they’re often a rip off. I’ve already reviewed Romwe and Shein, and today I thought I’d do an in-depth Zaful review.
Full disclosure! All of these items were in a PR package provided by Zaful, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be 100% honest in my Zaful review! So, without further ado, here’s what I ordered from Zaful and whether it was a hit or a miss.

Have you ever been out shopping and came across the utterly perfect dress? I was shopping at Forever 21 a few weeks ago looking for some cheap trends, and I came across this gorgeous white maxi dress that might actually be “Lisa” in dress form: the lace, the off-white color, the laces on the bodice. I bought it immediately.
This outfit of the day post is a little different from my previous ones because they were shot by a professional photographer: my friend and former co-worker Alex Marcano, who is crazy talented. He had the idea to do a collaboration, and I jumped at the offer. Usually, a member of my family or a friend takes my photos, so it was a new experience for me to be photographed professionally. Of course, I picked my new perfect, favorite dress to wear for the occasion!
It’s been a long while since I published. I gave myself a break at the end of May because I went away for Memorial Day Weekend, and because I managed to burn myself out doing too many things at once: i.e. having four-ish jobs! Anyway–you also may notice a different theme! I’ve also moved from a free hosted WordPress to a self-hosted one, and gotten a facelift in the mix! I’m loving the new theme, and am still tweaking it to perfection. Hope you like it too!
Today’s look features this beautiful summer scarf from Storiarts, and it’s got a passage from my favorite book written on it: Pride and Prejudice. Absolutely in love with this soft, romantic scarf, and so I styled an outfit around it using neutral tones for a cool spring day. It was in the 60s that day, and I was headed to work. This was a pretty comfortable and pretty outfit to wear.
Hello, all. A fashion post today with this soft, dreamy longline cardigan. I’ve styled both of these pieces before, the cardigan and the blush pink romper underneath, but I’m a big fan of recombining my favorite pieces into entirely new looks. Helps that I also don’t need to shop as much!
Blush pink and creamy whites are two of my favorite colors, and are always in my color scheme for spring. Hope you like!
