Hello all! Today’s look is all about spring pastels and retro vibes. Last summer, I was sent a pair of vintage-pattern polka dot shorts from Simple Retro, and they quickly became one of my favorite pieces ever—I wore them a dozen times, in summer and in the winter, and got so much use from them that I decided to buy another pair. Here they are, in a soft, dusty lavender color! They’re perfect for spring!
Hey all! This week I have a fun outfit to share combining two major trends this year, and two of my favorite ones possibly ever: embroidery and bell sleeves! It’s definitely an eye-catching combination, but I think it’s super fun to style these two very bold trends in one look, and this is an outfit I’ve worn a few times, and one I always feel pretty and confident wearing! I’m pretty obsessed with embroidery lately, ain’t gonna lie. Anything floral print pretty much has my heart. <3
One of the best pieces I bought this year was this simple, button-down denim dress. A frugal shopper, I scored it on sale at Wet Seal just before they closed down, and despite the price tag, it’s a quality piece I’ve worn a dozen times already since I bought it in late January. I’ve worn it to work with tights during winter, and now that it’s a wet, chilly spring here, it’s still the perfect casual work look—with a spring upgrade!
Happy Friday, all! Today I’m heading off with my cousins and sisters to Austin, Texas, for my cousin’s bachelorette party. It’s been a chilly, wet April and I’m so excited to be spending the weekend somewhere really hot! I bought this umbrella about a month ago when I saw it on Amazon and fell in love. I used to work at an art company, and I have always loved ballet, so this umbrella, printed with Degas’ ballerinas, was a perfect choice to keep me dry in the April showers. Hope you like this look!
Happy Fashion Friday, all! I hope that wherever you are, the sun is shining and it’s 75 degrees. We’ve had a beautiful week of spring in New York, and it’s totally given my whole mood a lift. I’ve been planning more outdoor activities, like outdoor/rooftop bars, wandering around Central Park, and simply eating my lunch outside. There’s nothing quite as beautiful as spring, especially in the city.
Here’s a new look today, an early spring look for when it’s still too chilly to ditch the tights. I wore this to a Passover seder last week, and also to work!
I love scalloped hems! They’re such a fun, flirty trend that I have embraced wholeheartedly. I love it on skirts, shirts, and now sleeves! Simple, but adds such a touch of elegance and whimsy to any outfit. This outfit was born from a need to feel springy and yet still be warm, because, as I’ve been whining about for months, it’s still super cold here. Tights, suede boots, and a thick skirt are still necessary, but I can’t help but gravitate toward shorter sleeves and lighter clothes. Hope you like this outfit!
There’s nothing better than a little black dress. It’s always in style, it’s always flattering, and it’s always versatile. Here’s one I just bought that is flattering for my body type and even incorporates some trendy touches that I happen to love, namely, the tie at the neck and the billowy sleeves! The skater skirt is perfect for night and day, and I can even pull this off at work, maybe with a structured blazer?
Hello, all. A fashion post today with this soft, dreamy longline cardigan. I’ve styled both of these pieces before, the cardigan and the blush pink romper underneath, but I’m a big fan of recombining my favorite pieces into entirely new looks. Helps that I also don’t need to shop as much!
Blush pink and creamy whites are two of my favorite colors, and are always in my color scheme for spring. Hope you like!
Today’s outfit is another work-appropriate one featuring some brand-new styles from Statement Boutique. First, these daisy-printed cotton pants I’m obsessed with, and then this chiffon vest I love! I paired it with a pair of blush sandals from Jeffrey Campbell.
Both these pieces are courtesy of the online boutique Statement Boutique. The owner, Nina, decided to open a digital store to provide unique pieces of clothing that were appropriate in both professional settings and casual ones, which I think this outfit perfectly mixes.
Here’s an outfit I’ve been repeating A LOT lately. I tend to do that: find a combo I love, and then exhaust it. The top is actually a dress from Shein, one of those sites that got into trouble recently for scams—and while this “dress” is well made and what I ordered, it is also waaaay too short to be a dress. Here it is as a tunic-type top, paired with burgundy leggings. Hope you like!
