New Look // Turtleneck under blue dress + magenta heels

Hi all! Today I have a fun look combining two of my current favorite colors: navy blue and magenta. I think this color combination is so fun, especially to brighten up a look during deep winter. Over here it’s not too cold anymore鈥攕eems like spring came early to New York! But since I’m still wearing stockings and light coats, this seems like a perfect outfit to start transitioning to the warmer weather!

Fashion // Maybe this year

Every year, I look forward to what I’m going to wear for Christmas Day. All my life, I’ve loved to dress up on special occasions, and even on occasions that aren’t that special for obvious reasons, but that feel special to me. I like to dress up just for the sake of it.

So this year, I put together this outfit culled from the presents I received on the day and some affordable pieces from Marshalls and other stores like that. I love how this outfit is sparkly, cute, and chic, but also comfy and affordable. Hope you like it! It would also be a perfect choice for New Year’s Eve!

I also did my eye makeup in a very fun way鈥攚ith rhinestones on my lids. I got the idea from my favorite beauty vlogger Chloe Morello, who got it from Kylie Jenner’s Halloween costume this year. It was not so easy gluing jewels to my eyes, but hey, the end result was totally worth it. 馃檪

Pleats + lace. I’m still on this neutral trend, but I couldn’t help bringing in a soft color into this outfit. I love the swish of this skirt and the wide pleats. On my feet are my fave spring/summer shoes from Nasty Gal, bought last year. They’re great for day and night and as a bonus point, they’re also really walkable, providing I don’t lace them too tight. I wear them almost every day in the summer.

All of my tops I’ve worn in the past few weeks are slightly tinted blue. Hair problems 馃檪

Happy May Day! Go dance around a maypole with a flower crown on.

This spring I’ve been gravitating toward muted colors鈥攂lush, cream, gold, taupe and gray are all on the agenda鈥攚hich is apparently why I just dyed a bunch of colors in my hair. Looks like I can’t get away from my color obsession. I love feeling like a mermaid. 馃槈

Here’s an outfit I styled with a dress from Marshalls and these amazing new Jeffrey Campbell sandals I scored on sale. Whenever spring comes around, I get so much more excited to put together dreamy, romantic outfits.

Fashion | Winter Song

Winter white and my usual pop of color. I’m reverting back to a romantic style in my outfits that almost disappeared in the last year, but it’s always interesting to see how style changes over time, and especially when it changes back.

Fashion // Idol of Roses

I love long, drapey things and anything white/cream/beige. I am loving soft colors lately. It has since gotten colder here in New York and impossibly rainy, but on the day I took these it was a perfect sunny, early autumn day. This climbing ivy is legit. And I will keep wearing these Nasty Gal boots while the weather鈥攁nd my pedicure鈥攈olds out!

I wore this to an early birthday celebration at Havana Cafe in the Bronx. It was hot hot hot out and we sat out on the patio during brunch and just soaked up the sun and sipped cocktails. That was a perfect pre-birthday celebration for me.

Fashion // Paris is a Moveable Feast

I bought this bag last month from a little boutique in Bronxville called Weezie D. It’s got what I think is Paris painted on it, and in blush pink, it goes with nearly everything in my wardrobe. I wore this outfit to the BookCon. I think it’s bookish without being silly. Plus, you gotta love those polka dots, man.

Fashion: Fairy-World

My favorite colors! Black, red, and gold, with a bit of brown thrown in for good measure. I wore this out to a dinner date last week. These knit tights from American Apparel are so lovely and warm, but they rip so easily! I find myself having to constantly darn them (I’m going to refrain from making a “darn it” joke right here, but I am that cheesy). I’ve had these Adrienne Vittadini boots for a couple years now. I got them absurdly cheap from Marshall’s.
