Sheer tops in winter. How smart of me. BUT I can’t help it! Winter dressing is such a bummer sometimes, and there are only so many sweaters in the world. I do like to change it up and try new styles, even if it means I have to layer up a little bit more. And what better time to try sheer tops than Valentine’s Day? This gorgeous top is perfect for this romantic season.
Here, I wore a simple black bodysuit underneath, but if you’re afraid of running cold, a great way to wear sheer is to layer something underneath, especially if it’s meant to peek out. Try a long sleeve thermal or turtleneck underneath, in a neutral or complementary shade.
This is definitely a casual Valentine’s Day look, suitable for laid back dates and Galentine’s activities. To make it dressier, sub a heel for the boots. When in doubt, dainty jewelry goes a long way. I got this teensy little rose gold bracelet courtesy of Fossil, and it’s adorable and perfect for the season, and I’ll definitely wear this year-round.
Hope you like this look!
