Even if you’re not in a relationship, especially if you’re not in a relationship, Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate. There’s a clear-cut excuse to eat chocolate and wear pink, and that’s always a good idea in my opinion. If you’re single, make the day all about pampering and self-love! This week I’m sharing the first of two Valentine’s Day outfit ideas, whether you’re going out on a date or out with your friends. If you’re staying in, ditch the dress and stick to comfy sweatpants with your chocolate. 😉
I love this look because it’s special without being too dressy. Plus I love the mix of florals and stripes, something I’m really into lately. Hope you like this look!
I’m a big believer of pink and floral prints, and this look combines them both. Don’t be afraid to mix prints, especially contrasting prints, if they’re within the same color tones. A gray-and-white striped shirt works great with this mauve-y pink, and the shoes provide just an extra touch of color.
Of course, Valentine’s Day is a day for accessorizing! I’m loving ear jackets lately; they’re like a cross between dangly earrings and posts, plus they’re interesting to look at. I got these from Bauble Bar! They’re hella glitzy and perfect for special occasions.
Finishing the look are two new acquisitions from Fossil: the Annette watch, a dainty, thin-strap watch too pretty for words, and the Ryder Satchel, a holdall satchel that’s not too big, not too small. A Goldilocks purse for all occasions. 🙂
What are you doing for Valentine’s Day? Boycotting or reveling in the commercialism? 😉
