It’s been crazy cold and very snowy here in New York. As I write this I’m enjoying a snow day from work due to the absurdly named “Bomb Cyclone” winter storm, and I have to say, I could definitely get used to this. There’s something about winter and snow that always makes me happy, calm, and cheerful. January is one of my favorite months of the year because it’s cold and cozy—such a great excuse to stay inside and read. But if you do go out, here’s some outfit inspiration for ya.
I put together this outfit inspired by the gorgeous falling snow: white on white. I adore the bell sleeves of this Free People top, even if the sheer details aren’t necessarily weather-appropriate. Then again, when do I ever really bundle up? 😉
One part of this look that makes some sense is this super comfy sweater skirt from Zara. If you’re always cold like me, picking up a cozy skirt like this is a great compromise between style and comfort. Seriously, it’s softer than most sweatpants I own.
Hope you like this look! If you’re anywhere on the East Coast, please stay warm and safe this weekend!
