Fall means a whole new outlook on life: it means chilly nights by the fire, warm apple cider, and leaves turning every jewel-bright color. I’m celebrating the beginning of fall by thinking of all the things I want to do: apple picking, baking cookies, staying home on cool nights with a big book, drinking fall beers, and going to family events. It’s also so much fun to change up your wardrobe according to the season. I always use a lot of color in my outfits, and I tend to go through stages according to the season (and sometimes I like to break the rules).
This September, I’ve really been into blues of all types, which I think is a great color to transition out of summer and into fall. Last week I wore a bright blue sundress, and this week the blues are more muted, and paired with fall-toned nudes and browns.
I got these pants from Amazon, and when I tried them on I got nervous I wouldn’t be able to pull them off with my body shape, but I actually really like the effect of them. These palazzo-style pants were a big trend when I was about 8 or 9, and now they’re back! I wore a crop top to create contrast between the loose pants. Hope you like this look!
What I like best about dressing for fall is finding fun new ways to bring in some things from your summer closet that you’re not willing to give up just yet: like these open-toe boots. Pulling in darker, autumn tones and pairing summer clothing with fall clothing keeps everything fresh and fun.
