Who doesn’t love a good sale? During my trip to San Diego I happened upon an Aeropostale store having a major end-of-summer sale (in July). I hadn’t been inside Aeropostale for years, since it’s one of those stores I tend to think of as stocking mid-2000s logo tees, but in fact, they had racks and racks of cute dresses and rompers, most at half off.
This dress is one of those purchases: a soft, flowy dress with a classic pattern and print, that’s super versatile. I styled it up here with red pumps but this is a dress you can easily style down with sandals for a super casual look, or try it with a statement necklace for date night! One of the reasons why dresses are so popular is because they’re so easy (and fun) to style in endless ways.
Also new is this copper ring I bought for $10 in San Diego, by a street vendor who made it right in front of me! I love handmade jewelry, and this one is so unique. It reminds me of an eye as well as of an ocean wave.
Right now I’m really into the classic color combination of blue and red. As well as being very Americana, it’s such a striking effect! Adding a red purse to a simple jeans-and-tee combo, for example, elevates a look so much! Hope you like this outfit. 🙂
