Summer, as told by F. Scott Fitzgerald

It’s officially summer! Deep in the winter months, it seems like summer will never resurface, but it does! And it has! Today I thought I’d share with you a quote from The Great Gatsby, about summer and new beginnings:

“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”

I feel like this almost with every season, but especially with spring and summer. I love winter, but when the weather starts to warm up, it’s like a fresh new start to life. It brings its own energy and I always feel more creative during the changing of seasons. This year has been one of new beginnings throughout, and they’ve all been good things. I feel really happy for whatever summer will bring. Sentimental, I know, but true. Summer = happy. 🙂 So have a great one!signoff
