New Look // Floral embroidery jeans + white shirt combo

Hi all! Today I’ve got a not-so-classic blue jeans/white shirt combo for ya. A few weeks ago I DIYed these floral embroidery jeans and I could not wait to style them in an outfit here. The process was pretty simple: just some adhesive sheets, a lot of cutting, and ironing them on a pair of jeans I already had. I love the way they turned out! Hope you like this look.

Lately, I’ve been really into artfully embellished blouses, whether it’s bell sleeves, bows at the waist, ribbons at the wrists, or shoulder cut-outs. I’m really into these “deconstructed shirts” and will definitely scoop up a whole bunch for my spring work wardrobe! This top is a small-scale example of that: with the scalloped hems and the slight off-the-shoulder neckline, it’s both work-appropriate and full of personality. Plus, I love that belted waist!

All in all, this is a classic American combo with some huge twists thrown in, which is how I like my fashion: quirky yet timeless. I’m so not a jeans gal, never have been, but I will wear ANYTHING that has a floral print! 😉

Have a great weekend, all!
