New Look // Mixing patterns with a romantic dress

One of the reasons why I love winter fashion so much is the opportunity for layering, mixing patterns and textures, and creating energetic color combinations. You’ve got so much to work with in winter: stockings, dresses, layering shirts under or cardigans over a dress, scarves, etc. I love putting all the puzzle pieces together to create something fresh and new. In summer, my choices are more limited!

It happened to be a warm day, so no layering, but I love how this simple look can be enhanced by pulling in a contrast of textures and patterns. Of course, a perfect t-strap heel with a pointed toe is a secret-weapon shoe: it elongates your legs and creates a seamless finish!

I wore this outfit to a sit-down family party. With a little red lipstick, it was a timeless look! Hope you like it.
