Have you ever heard of Montana Silversmiths? They’re an online jewelry boutique selling handcrafted, sterling silver jewelry with Western and fantasy themes…Montana Silversmiths approached me to sample their jewelry and share my thoughts, so here they are!
I chose a two-tone horse pendant that I fell in love with when I saw it, and another two-tone piece, a silver and gold cuff bracelet with a swirly design.
The two jewelry pieces were beautifully packaged; the necklace was in a velvet box and the cuff was in a cardboard one. The necklace’s box was stamped with the company’s name, making it a nice present.
I really like the craftsmanship of both of these pieces. It’s obvious that they’re very well made and very carefully designed. I think what makes Montana Silversmiths most interesting as a jewelry brand is their specific-themed jewelry pieces. Like, for example, they advertise their specialty in “cowgirl jewelry.” I love the emphasis on the romanticism of the West, as well as the fantasy angle. I picked the horse necklace because it reminded me of Harry Potter…what else? 😉
These jewelry pieces are definitely quirky, and in the best way. According to the website, every piece of jewelry is “touched by as many as 25” sets of hands, to ensure the highest quality. They have a Lifetime Limited Warranty, which definitely doesn’t come with the usual costume jewelry I always buy. 🙂 I also really love the designs; it was hard to choose only two that I loved.
I styled these two pieces of jewelry in an outfit post I’m excited to share here soon! I don’t usually buy very high-quality jewelry, preferring trendy pieces I can wear and discard in only a couple years, to save money. But these two pieces, and the items on the Montana Silversmiths website, are pieces of jewelry you can invest in and wear for years. That cuff especially is one I can see myself rocking for years to come. I’m very pleased with this company and would buy here again.
