Hey all! It’s officially fall now, which means changing up my wardrobe entirely. Luckily, it’s still mad hot here in New York, so I can still get away with summer style—with a few tweaks. Today, I’m styling a romper for fall, the same romper I wore in July. I hope you like this look! Keep reading for tips on how to transition a summer romper for fall, and how to make the whole look come together.
I wore this romper in July (you can see the look here) and I threw a simple openwork crochet lace vest over it, with some sandals that matched the tone, and gold jewelry. This time around, I still tried to echo that gorgeous burnt orange color of the knit romper, but this is definitely a romper for fall. I added a knotted, lightweight scarf of the same tones, and simple flat ankle boots! Finally, of course, a longline cardigan.
You can duplicate this look with a shrug or cardigan, but remember to mirror and accentuate the colors you see in the romper. This romper for fall outfit, I think, works best with a solid color romper. Definitely a laid back, chic fall look!
Romper for summer vs. Romper for fall:
I’m definitely looking forward to fall this year; this summer has been long, very very hot, and somewhat stressful. I’m looking forward to new beginnings and everything this season has to offer.
