Fun with a capsule wardrobe

Lately I’ve been really interested in the idea of a capsule wardrobe. I don’t think I’ll ever fully commit to the idea because it means giving up the trends I love so well, but it got me thinking about what I would stock my capsule wardrobe with if I had the guts to give it a try.

I decided to pick a color scheme and a season: so this would be early spring, and this is my color palette:

It’s a lot of the colors I already wear, with one notable addition: navy blue, a color I almost never wear. But I found these amazing heels and I thought a cool tone would be a nice addition for a pop of color for this “dream” capsule wardrobe.

Check out what I threw together:

Now, this isn’t a true capsule wardrobe; it’s far too small for one thing, and for another, it’s missing some mix-and-match pieces, but this would be a start for me.

Hey, (my English is not very well but i”ll try 🙂 ) as far as I see we have similar style. I love this color plate, and as a fashion (a little bit) “addic”, in my point of view- first of all- do a capsule wardrobe and if you do think about the new PERFECT trend of midi skirts with elegant vests and some acsessorise for a dally look 🙂 good luck

    • Thanks for the advice! And for stopping by 🙂

  • I love these colours and I also think that when preparing a capsule wardrobe you need to choose what you actually will wear over what you won’t otherwise you might find the three months or more very difficult! Also I know you mentioned that it was too small for a capsule but originally capsules were only 7 or so pieces big so sizing is entirely your own choice! 🙂 looking forward to reading more!

    • Wow! I cannot imagine having only 7 pieces of clothing for 3 months. That’s crazy! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

      • And yet some people do it! In fact it might have even been a seven piece wardrobe! I know from my own that I could never do it – but a girl can dream? . . . But I’d probably rather dream of multiple shoes oops . . . 🙂 x
